The Bretby Lane Neighbourhood Watch Scheme has now been officially registered with Derbyshire Police, the Watch Number is SW137. Some insurance companies offer a discount for home owners who are members of Neighbourhood Watch schemes and you may be requested to quote this number.
For residents who have not so far registered an interest in Neighbourhood Watch the registered coordinator for the scheme is Steve Toone at Number 19, assisted by Brian Davison at Number 80. Contact details for these are as follows:

If you have any concerns about crime or suspicious activity near you please contact one of the coordinators or the Derbyshire Police non-emergency number 101, or of course 999 in an emergency.
Over the last few months we have had some crimes committed down the lane which we have alerted to residents by means of e-mail. If you would like to be included in these alerts please send your e-mail address to one of the coordinators and we will add you to the circulation list.
There will obviously be residents who do not have access to e-mail and it is hoped to set up a network so that those with e-mail can keep them informed. The more e-mail addresses we have, therefore, the easier this will be to organise. (Please note e-mail addresses will not be disclosed to anyone else)
